"I don't think that you are suppose to be here, Celeynsk." I belong with Celeyn.Where she is, so is Celeynsk.
The thought was ended, not even up for debate, Celeynsk produced a throaty rumble as if saying that Celeyn might as well give up. Seriously. Celeynsk did not -even- want to hear it. She would stay with Celeyn, through death even. And Celeyn was feeling smothered. Seriously. Celeyn did not -even- want to hear it. The two of them, stood in the middle of the record's room, just staring. It was not challenging but more a tired routine that the two had been through several times before. For two turns now, Celeyn had not been left alone, even for sleeping. Unreasonably aggravated with the stubborn Wher, Celeyn glared futilely before turning on heel to stalk toward a nearby table. Seriously.
Making a growling sound of her own in frustration, Celeynsk sighed, a great heaving of released tension. I am sorry, Celeynsk. I feel so.. trapped. It seemed unexplainable, how something was running after her, like she was being trapped but had no where to go. Mine should not worry.Never would Celeynsk be hurt with me here. And I will never fail to protect. The golden Wher seemed far older than her two turns, tired of life. She scooted her body closer, to lean against Celeyn, her heavy body sinking into Celeyn's much softer flesh. The rumbling that was emitted sounded very similar to a feline purr. Celeynsk would never allow hers to be hurt. Celeynsk seemed so tired, exhausted as if the world was too much of a burden on her. And sometimes with Celeyn, it did seem so.
"Okay Celeynsk, it's time we get something done. Lets look up some history, we should probably learn some details if we are going to live here." A grunt was her only reply but that was okay, she didn't need words. Celeyn lived so long in fear for Celeynsk, it seemed most times that there was no Pern, there was only the two of them. Standing up to walk over to where a few records lay, scattered really, across a table, abandoned from the last person who had read them. Picking up an armload, she could feel Celeynsk eyes on her, ever watchful, smothering. Celeyn did love Celeynsk. More than life. It was just so... hard at times. Celeynsk was unforgiving and complicated. Life with her was complicated. Dumping her armload of papers on her desk, she pulled out a chair to sit in, folding her legs underneath of her for a more comfortable position. Celeynsk finally dropped down to the ground as Celeyn settled down in her chair, he golden head, moving to lay in Celeyn's lap. Never would she leave hers. Never would she allow hers to leave.

Bamre was sitting at a nearby table. He was though so concentaring on reading that he had yet to notice the other two. Bamre was getting alittle fustarted with Iron and Emerald who were both climbing all over the papers that he was trying to read. He siad to them both while picking them up off the papers and sitting the two flits on the floor " Now you two stay down." Diamond was a usal lounging on her pets shoulder and was satisfited sitting were she was. Bamre countied to read. It had always been a thing that he liked to do and he did it often. At least a hour or two a day. Somtimes he would read the stuff to Purth becuase it was somthing he liked to do. Bamre wondered how much the white understood it. Yet as Bamre had always known it was usally a great deal more than he realized.
That was when the the two firelizards who were now chasing each other jumped up on the table and scattered the papers and Bamre siad " Iron Emerald you two better stop it right now!" The two firelizards almost stoped dead in there tracks becuase there pet almost never yelled at them so they knew that when he did it ment that he was very serious. Bamre then stood up and began to gather all the papers off the floor and that was when he noticed the gold Wher and it's handler. He smiled at them and then began to sit down and read again. That was when Emerald decided to have some fun.
She flew over and landed on the girls shoulders and chriped a greeting at her. Bamre looked over and sighed. He really did not want his firelizards bothering people when they were trying to do thing. Bamre walked over to where she was and then pulled out a chair that was abit down form her becuase he knew that Wher's had a certain temperment and Purth was not here with him. He then smiled at her and siad " Hello my name is Bamre whats yours." He just looked at her couriously and kept one eye on the Wher in case it got mad.

Celeynsk had noticed the intruder, just as she began to settle down with Celeyn. Of course others might be around but it was the flitters that agitated her. Dumb flying things. Celeynsk's eyes were just beginning to relax and close to half mast when they snapped back open. Celeynsk had almost over-looked intruders! Her gold swirled body stiffened, her muscles hardening with strain. Intruders. Her eyes whirled a rapid red color, watching them with hatred. Celeynsk did not know this person but she did not like him.
Celeyn was consumed by what she was reading, it was not that she did not know that there was another in the room, she was simply lost in the archives but there was no ignoring Celeynsk's behavior. Celeyn tried to ignore the thoughts that roved through her mind. Thoughts pushed in by Celeynsk. The blood thirsty watchfulness inserting itself in her mind. And Celeyn resented it even as she knew she needed to gain control of Celeynsk-quickly. Celeyn carefully ignored the group, studiously focusing on the subject at hand, her mind firmly liked in with Celeynsk. And it was fine, Celeynsk was not happy but she was not acting out, not attacking anyone and that was Celeyn's deepest fear. Celeynsk, the boy is simply reading. As I am. All is fine, calm Celeynsk. Calm girl. You have control, you are better than this. For a moment that seemed to snap Celeynsk out of her haze, of course she was better than this. She was the Queen. She was magnificent, this boy should bow before her. Celeynsk better. Much better. All bow before her. She is much greater than even Dyamoth. A fine shudder rippled over the Wher's hide in exaggerated disgust. But even as control returned to Celeynsk, Pern righted itself in her mind, as Celeyn was not in danger. Human things.might want to bow for us. The thought made Celeyn smile in encouragement. This was going much better than even she had dared to hope for. Thank Faranth. Reaching out to stroke the Wher in praise, the mood was shattered.
Celeyn could feel small claws dig into her shoulder, she could hear the chirp in her ear, she could feel the control over Celeynsk rip apart. The thin line of sanity that kept the Wher from being feral became precariously unbalanced. It seemed the world shrunk away from her as she watched Celeynsk's eyes pop open, blood red and swirling with outrage. Hatred poured from her but nothing happened. Celeyn seemed confused, she could feel the hate and rage, trasferring from Celeynsk to her but surely Celeynsk had not suddenly gained any real control? Not bothering to hope that Celeynsk had somehwo managed to miraculously change, Cleyn stood up slowly, tense in waiting, Celeyn's muscles seemed pulled back and strained to their maximum extent. Celeyn looked like a ready warrior of old times, her blonde hair swung slowly even as the boy sat down. Then it happened. What Celeyn had waited for happened. It was as if the boy's words set the golden Wher off, that unpredictable moment in which Celeyn -might- have been able to gain control over Celeynsk disappeared with a nearly audible "POP!"
Celeynsk attacked. Her body shifted into movement, her muscles rippled beautifully as she jumped up on the table to leap at Celeyn. She would not hurt hers. But she would kill the flying thing that dared to touch hers. That dare put it's worthless claws on her skin. Celeynsk's red hazed mind saw the little flitter as a possible barrier between her and Celeyn. Somehow that little thing could come between them and Celeynsk would never allow that to happen. She leaped across the chair, above Celeyn's head, her legs dropping down, to drag across the girl's shoulders. If the flit was dumb enough to remain perched on her shoulders, it would no longer be there. Her golden body landed heavily on the ground on the otehr side of Celeyn, swinging around crazily, her eyes locking in on the boy. This human thing. He was much to close, much too close to er Celeyn. It was his flying thing that -dared- break Celeyn away from her. But Celeynsk would not allow it! Never would her Celeyn leave her! Stalking around Celeyn toward the boy, her eyes watched carefully, she was trapped in a state of blood lust.
Celeyn seemed torn. She was ready for Celeynsk, she would die to protect the boy, he did not deserve to die simply because her Wher was mad. Celeynsk. Her Celeynsk. It was so tragic, Celeyn knew that she had done this to what could have been a beautiful Wher. She had broken the Wher because she had been too weak. But now was definitely not the time to worry about that. As soon as Celeynsk landed on the ground, Celeyn's swung around to face the Wher, her eyes seeking out the exits of the room. One never knew whether or not she could control the Wher. Something needed to be done now. "Celeynsk. Celensk, calm down. I am not leaving you. Celeynsk, do you hear me , you wherry-headed Wher?! I am right here, unharmed, by your side. Come back over here. To me, Celeyn... Celeynsk's." The girl pleaded with the Wher, anything, anything if Celeynsk would come back down from her craze. She started out sounding firm and in control but before she had finished speaking, her voice had broken and she had been reduced to begging. Celeynsk. I love you.
Celeynsk seemed caught too. She pulled back as the last words penetrated the fog surrounding her mind. Celeynsk's still loved Celeynsk. Celeynsk's still loved Celeynsk. Her great head swung back to Celeyn, tears rolling down her cheeks and then back to the boy. Celeynsk is hurting her Celeyn.Never Celeynsk will be hurt. Never. Still caught and still unbalanced, Celeynsk paused between the two. Did she obey? Or did she do what her mind was still pushing her to do?

Bamre watched for a second then his eyes wided in fear as he saw the Wher get angry he quickly sent he thoughts to Purth Purth please hurry I think I may need you Purth said to him Don't worry Mine I will be there as quickly as I can. Bamre knew that if that Wher decided to try and hurt him that his only chance to escape would be if he could get out the door and to where the white would be in few minutes because he knew that the dragon could not fit in here. He could sense Diamond and Iron getting angry because he knew that the two flits would do anything to protect him.
It was when Emerald landed and the Wher jumped at the green that Emerald went between and appeared next to Bamre. The rider reached out and wrapped his arms around the green who hissed at the Wher. Bamre grabbed Emerald mouth and held it shut to get her to stop hissing he did not want to make the Wher more angry. The little green soon stopped and Bamre began to finger his knife. If he needed to defend himself he would. Even though he knew that he stood no chance against the gold wher.
Purth had soon reached the entrance to the Records Room and stood outside the door and said to Bamre Don't worry Mine I am here now. What is it? Bamre slowly moved around the Wher giving it a wide breath so that he was between it and the door so he could get to Purth more easily if necessary. He then siad There seems to be a wher in here and Emerald made it mad. I don't know what it will do. Plus don't hurt it if you don't need to. Purth repiled saying in a worried voice Alright Mine, but I will not let it hurt you. I will do what I must to protect you. Bamre sighed and siad to Purth I know my love. I know.
Bamre at this moment wished his flits would leave so that they did not make the Wher more angry then it already was. Yet he knew that they would never leave his side as long as they thought he was in danger. He then said softly to the girl " Is everything going to be ok?" He really hoped it was because he knew that Purth would kill the wher if that was what the white had to do to defend him and he really did not want anyone to get hurt.

Celeyn felt aggravation overtake her and in part terror. She felt Celeynsk's claws drag roughly across her skin, catching and tearing the flesh on her shoulder. This was in no form going good. Shards, it was night, no one should even be in here. Uh.. she had no right to tell people where they should be at what time. But she needed to concentrate of Celeynsk at the moment. Angry that she had allowed tears to drip so unheeded from her eyes, she wiped her face in one angry motion, causing more blood to gush from her wound. Celeynsk! You will come over here! Please... Her strong commanded ended on a soft pleading note. She needed Celeynsk to come. She needed it.
Sensing that her handler was both commanding her and asking her, Celeynsk could feel the pain that beat at Celeynsks. She had managed to hurts Hers. Perhaps that was the worse thing of all. That even though she was protecting hers, she had hurt her Celeyn. The pain, the anger and hurt that caught Celeyn, lured Celeynsk back to sanity, pulling her back to Celeyn. It called to her, she could not help but return to Celeyn. Now the boy was no longer endangering her relationship with Celeyn. Now Celeyn, herself was jeopardizing that relationship.
Dropping her hungry attention from the boy, the Wher's gold head turned back to Celeyn, her red whirling eyes shifting, the blood lust evaporating. In it's place, Celeynsk familiar face took shape, devoted, caring. It was almost to much for Celeyn, to see the change. And it was almost too much for Celeynsk to bear the burden of Celeyn's emotions. Their relationship was hardly satisfactory and usually caused more harm to the Wherling pair than good but they could not help it. Like moths drawn to the light of a bug zapper, (if there were moths and bug zappers on Pern). Exhausted both mentally and physically, the two stared at each other. Blood dripped a slow path down Celeyn's arm to the floor, the large Golden Wher stood at her full potential a hardy 5 ft, staring at her handler. Nothing was said, not even on their mental length. Both were trapped in their own world of pain. Finally lifting her tear stained gaze to the boy, she began to walk toward him.
Celeyn did not say a word to Celeynsk as she passed, just reached out a hand halfway as she passed by her before she pulled it back quickly. Like the mere closeness stung her. Trying to regain composure, to act as if what just happened did not she lifted her head regally, tossing her hair back. "I am terribly sorry about Celeynsk. Sometimes she is... uncontrollable." It seemed odd, awkward, the tension that still hung in the air threatened to choke off Celeyn. But she would not allow that. She would push through this, just as she had other times. Apologize quietly and take Celeynsk off where she could harm anyone or thing. Plastering a tight smile one her face, Celeyn's cheeks literally hurt from the effort. "My, those are lovely firelizards. I hope that the little green was not hurt. We were just leaving." The words were so stiff coming from her mouth, they left a disgusting aftertaste in her mouth. "I really am sorry." Still smiling, she held out a hand. Blood still dripping slowly, leaving a slowly growing stain of her tunic, spreading downwards.
